Before there were States, there were Empires. And leading most of these Empires were Dynasties. But contrary to what all historians believe, at the center of all dynastic rule stood the greatest dynasty of them all:

Xanadu.

But then humans fucked it up, just like they fuck up everything. The “Rough Draft Utopia” that was Xanadu never panned out.
